Where to from here for St Kilda Village: the planning event of the year!
Be sure to make time on Monday 1st October from 4-8pm to join with the SKVTG committee and other traders to help create the future for St Kilda Village.  SKVTG will host a Vision Workshop to determine the direction for the area for the next 5 years:  traffic management, parking, the Triangle, street furniture, precinct promotion and anything else that you think needs to be discussed to keep the Village alive.  Please rsvp to Olivia by Monday 24th September. The event will be held at SKANC 88 Acland St.

September to December 2007 Calendar
SKVTG has released its latest calendar for the period from now until the end of the year.  You will find it in cafes and stores and distributed by the Leader newspaper.  There are plenty of copies available for distribution so please call Olivia if you would like one or 100!  The next calendar will be for January to April 2008 and your thoughts on its format and content are welcome.

Foreshore development
You may have noticed some action at the waterfront lately.  It’s all part of the new St Kilda Foreshore Promenade, a significant project within the overarching St Kilda’s Edge developments.  It will involve the reconstruction of the foreshore promenade between St Kilda Pier and Brooke’s Jetty, a new modular pre cast concrete sea wall, new pavements, a sustainably sourced timber boardwalk, custom designed beach showers and drinking fountains and over 90 new trees for summer shade.  For further info contact City of Port Phillip.
